Auto-translation in Circle to Search might replace language apps

Imagine needing a quick translation of something on your phone screen. Circle to Search already makes it simple—just open it, hit Translate, and the text switches to your chosen language. But soon, Google might make this even faster and easier.

In the latest Google app update (version 16.9.39.sa.arm64 beta), there’s a hint of a new auto-translate feature for Circle to Search. Once you turn it on, everything on your screen will instantly change to your preferred language the moment you use the tool. No extra taps are needed!

Don’t want it to translate automatically? No problem. You can switch it off by going to the three-dot menu and choosing to disable auto-translate. If it’s off, Circle to Search will pop up a message asking if you’d like to turn it back on.

If this update goes live, translating will drop from two steps to just one. The current way isn’t hard, but shaving off that extra step makes things smoother. It’s a small tweak that could save time and effort, especially if you often need quick translations on the go.

This could be a game-changer for anyone who relies on their phone to understand different languages. Say goodbye to flipping between apps or extra clicks—Circle to Search might just handle it all in a snap!
