Fitbit by Google retiring in favor of ‘Google Fitbit’
Months after introducing Fitbit by Google, the company has retired it in favor of Google Fitbit. So far, “Fitbit by Google” branding has been used on fitbit.com, videos, and product packaging.
The company has switched the “Fitbit by Google” moniker in favor of “Google Fitbit” on its website. Since “Google” now appears first, it might be that the four-color “G” becomes the icon going forward.
Google Store added many Fitbit watch and tracker accessories a couple of days back. It follows the previous listing of Fitbit devices, which were sold through the Google Store.
