ChatGPT app won’t require you to login before using it response. Recently, the platform ended the need for user login on the website. The change is expected to soon take place on the mobile application which is also downloaded in a good number.

Last month, OpenAI made an announcement, citing ChatGPT will be accessible without a user account login. Meanwhile, the company is preparing to deploy the change on its mobile application with a future release, as spotted by AndroidAuthority’s AssembleDebug.

ChatGPT v1.2024.136 Beta for Android allows you to chat with the AI chatbot without needing an account. A similar change is expected to be made on ChatGPT’s iOS application. Users will need to wait until the Stable version is released after Beta testing and verification.

Removal of login necessity will help the ChatGPT app better compete against its rival, Gemini. You won’t be able to save or review your chat history and share chats. You will also be able to choose whether your conversations can be used by OpenAI to improve ChatGPT’s models.

Meanwhile, ChatGPT will offer you some advanced features for free when you sign in as a free or premium user. With OpenAI’s new ChatGPT-4o, users will also be allowed to upload images so the chatbot can generate more relevant responses.
