Google Translate might let you ask about translations

Google seems to be working on a cool new feature for its Google Translate app that could make learning about translations easier.

In the newest version of Google Translate (version 9.1.76.720631521.2), there are hints about a new button called “Ask a Question” which will show up next to your translation results. Although we don’t know exactly how it will work when it’s fully out, it looks like this could be an AI-driven tool to give more context about translations.

This feature might help in several ways. For example, it could clear up confusing translations, explain cultural differences, teach you about how sentences are built in different languages, or even assist with particular translation needs.

Right now, we can’t confirm if this feature will do all these things since it’s still being developed. We’ll keep watching for updates in future Google Translate versions and will update you as soon as we know more.

Also, Google Translate is set to introduce an easier way to switch accounts directly from the settings menu. We’ve already seen this in the current update, and it should be available to everyone very soon.
