First look at the Pixel 9a’s edges and screen
A new leak has surfaced showing what the upcoming Pixel 9a might look like, even if the image isn’t obvious, it gives us a hint about the phone’s screen and borders.
Evan Blass posted a single “9a” photo today, displaying the front view of this affordable 2025 Pixel phone. The phone’s corners look much like those on the Pixel 9 and 9 Pro, and it appears to have a bigger front camera. You can see the antenna lines along the sides.
Pixel 9a borders
The screen’s background seems to be from the “Swirling Petals” series, but it’s a unique one not found in the current Pixel 9 phones. The Pixel Launcher looks just like before, which makes sense since big changes usually come with major Android updates or new flagship releases.
Due to the image’s low quality, it’s not easy to see clearly, but the borders on the sides and bottom seem even, while the top border is slightly thicker. This indicates the Pixel 9a could be sticking to the design style of the 2024 models.
